Jericho - cancelled

I liked it until recently when it began to preach their views. Stopped watching it a couple weeks ago - perhaps a lot of viewers didn't appreciate the preaching.

Umm, it's a TV show not the real world.....and it's really a shame it's going away. Sounds like it's too expensive for any else to pick up.

That sucks. My wife and I just got caught up on last season and have been watching this one.

Sure it had some oddities, what show doesnt, but it was interesting.

I really enjoyed this also.

To follow that up I ONLY watch three network shows

How I met your Mother
Jericho
Smallville

That is it now I guess I will have some more free time on my hands yeah!

Sad to see it go... I got into it recently (missed it the first time it was on) and a couple months back caught up on the first season online. Was hoping that SciFi and UHD would pick it up. Bummer :(

Thats me. I missed it, and caught it on UHD. I knew it was on before, but with limited time and other shows on I didnt want to start a new one. I will miss it though. Come on Sci FI. Better shot of getting it i think!

I am not surprised. They provided us with seven episodes to finish the story; but I can't say I have really enjoyed this season. It feels like a different show from last year.

And I am not convinced that given how the show transformed that they could continue it for much longer then a season.

Still, sad to see it go.

I felt exactly like you did at first as I liked the storyline of the small town trying to learn to survive all on it's own. I started enjoying the 2nd season a couple episodes in when I realized they were heading towards a revolutionary war. I didn't really get the whole preachiness others complained of, but enjoyed the story for what it was. It was good while it lasted; except for the origional CSI, no other reason for me or my wife to watch CBS.

I'm guess I'm in the minority here, but I'm glad to see it finish. Got hooked on it at first, and I'm one of those people who just has finish everything I start, but this show, and it's very many holes, and ridiculous inconsistencies, were maddening. Wanted to quit watching, but like I said, I have to finish what I start. Too bad, could have been much, much better. It was a great premise, but the writing never matched the idea.
