I got my Xbox magazine today and its in there and it says it retails for $60

According to EB Games that version doesn't come out until 5/5. I think it is only the adapter, with no cables.

The Xbox Magazine review was stellar...I was very pleasantly surprised.

Even if it turns out the $60 version is adapter only, that's just as well--the review said the included cables were very short. You'd be better off ordering from Monoprice anyway.

Ok everyone i just got an email from madcatz asking about weather the hdmi adaptor will transmit dolby digital and dts over hdmi and it wont . so in grand terms this adapto is only useful if you want 1080p not worth the price if you ask me

I get 1080p over Component. Why do I need this stupid adapter?

most cant use 1080p over component plus you cant upconvert dvds over component .however for the price of this adaptor you could buy an upconvert dvd player
