What is included with HD only package?

What exactly are the channels received within the HD Only Package?

Does it include the SD version of the HD channel as well?

I don't have it but thought it would be funny to have an HD ONLY package but include SD

yes it does include SD versions of all the HD channels (that have SD counterparts).

also you still get all locals in HD/SD

I just went to Dish Network's website and saw this package also includes 15 VOOM channels. Not bad! I just wonder if the price will go up once Disney HD, USA HD, SCI-FI HD and others join the package.

"guaranteed" not to change through Feb 09, all new HD channels added this year will be included in this package

You would you think that it might, but many have reported that the HD channel that Dish added today (CNN-HD) was also added to the HD only package. So they are still actively supporting and adding to it.
