I'm a little confused, what exactly are you asking?

I'm not sure where you see how many TPs you are connected too, (I'm sure its in a menu somewhere). You likely see TPs even if you don't necessarily sub to all or any of the channels on that TP. It likely has more to do with which Sat Dishes you have in your setup. So if you see 110/119 & 61.5 then that might be X num of TPs, but if you have 110/119 & 129, that might be a different number of TPs, even with the same sub.

One transponder per tuner.

Each tuner can access an infinite number of transponders - if you add another dish, then that increases the number of transponders it can access.
