Uplink Activity Report - 7/7/2008 6:02am - 2 changes

I agree, kstuart's been overreacting to comments like these for a couple a weeks now. Take a pill.

It's just tiresome to have "More National HD" in every thread.

Like:

Joe: "When I use L511, the fast forward doesn't work properly, it's a pain."

Fred: " More National HD ! "

and

George: "How large an external hard drive can I use?"

Fred: " More National HD ! "

and

Ed: " It's really annoying that the RSN HD feed ends, even if the baseball game goes into extra innings - they really should fix that. "

Fred: " More National HD ! "

hey guys and gals, everybody gets a little bent out of shape now and then.

kstuart is by far the funniest (wittiest) poster on this forum. I don't know who or what he or she is or does for a living, so I will just say, kstuart, keep up the good work! If I make a dumb post and you want to make a witty remark in reply, go ahead! I'll enjoy the laugh with you.:)

Has there been an UPLINK REPORT thread that has been closed. I'm thinking this is the closest I've seen one come.

OTOH, if you doubt DISH is present here, just ask the umpteen number of CSRs who come here and actually help customers and get fired for posting on this forum.

And trust me that they do read many of people posts looking for ideas and suggestions as they try making themselves better for all.

Yeah, Scott - I don't see one iota changes about what we're moaning and bitching here and there, but for sure they're doing "witch hunt". :(

SatelliteGuys is the acknowledged champion in off-topic posts that ignore the Topic Title.

Just today, this was posted in the L512 thread devoted to discussion about whether L511 problems were solved:

any word yet on when we'll receive the ability to remotely schedule recording events?

As a professional software engineer for many decades, I can tell you that the answer to "any word yet on when" is always no - with regards to any product in any industry.
