Ratings like xx were never given out by the MPAA. They are used within the adult film industry but they are self applied and there is no real standard involved. So are you saying that it it does not have that rating anymore or that it is somehow less explicit

I gave up on renting PPV (for the same price as a full DVD, btw) only to be seriously disappointed by the content.

I haven't done any PPV adult since I went HD last year. I recall xx didn't show any backdoor or pop shots (keeping it clean). xx.5 didn't show any backdoor action. I recall back during the 80's and early 90's when mainstream adult magazines and PPV adult (at least on cable) didn't show penetration.
