How worried are you E* customers that stuck are in contracts, about the direction E* seems to be going?
With the Local HD that were supposed to laund July 30th ,that still haven't. The LOW numbers per quarter.
The dropping of channels without notice
Lawsuits (TiVO)
Lawsuits (Voom)
Disagreements with FOX.
The Satellite failures, and Launches that failed.
Again whats the feeling about this?
Directv back with Tivo
MLB Pack, Now MLB Channel

Please explain your answers.

I'm very concerned!
I think E* is falling fast, and one day I'll come home and It will be just like VOOM GONE!
For 1 Eastern arc is for NEW Customers only, But E* isn't adding any new customers. Don't they think thats a problem?

I am worried. Everything you said, plus the news earlier about HDnet and HDnet Movies. What I am worried about, is that if D* ever starts producing equipment that is up to par with E*, then most of us will be switching. E*'s equipment is really all that is holding me to E*. D* has my locals in HD, they have most of the channels i want in HD. But E*'s damn dvr's are holding me back from switching and to be honest, it ticks me off! LOL!!

I'm bothered by the elimination of GOL TV from the Dish Network lineup, what looks like a decision not to place Fox Sports en Espanol in the AT250 package; no Fox Business Network after nearly one year on the air; no Comcast SportsNet Northwest after nearly one year on the air; no Mountain West Conference Sports Network; no BET J; no Fit TV; not to mention the long history of contract and carriage disputes with programmers.

I'm not worried at all. HD isn't in enough homes for them to care about HDNet and stuff yet. Not to mention that when people get an HDTV they don't want to watch new channels, they want to watch their current channels, in "HD" (be that just simply stretched, or in true HD). Dish is fine they're not going anywhere, judging from the amount of junk mail I get from Dish, Drect, and the local cable company, Mediacom each month, they've got plenty of extra money to burn.

DVR's and HD programming are the only thing for me right now. But the light at the end of the Tunnel is starting fade rapidly. Something needs to turn around fast. Maybe we didn't lose HD net this time, but it seemed very close . TOO Close

But they aren't adding Subscribers, Not even SD . They are losing them. Thats not good!

Don't know about where you are, But I keep adding New Dish Network customers all the time. Not worried at all...

and No "Sprout" No "The N" E* has some premiums D* doesn't , But makes you wonder if their next.

I'm a happy e* subscriber, and I'm not worried at all... Should the company be worried? Maybe, but why would I care, if they fold or start not providing me with the content I care about I'll just find a new provider. I have choices, and have decided that e* is best for me at the present time. If at some point in the future they aren't, then I won't be with them anymore. I certainly am not going to lose sleep over how my satellite provider is doing.

I just don't want to be stuck as a subscriber that turns out like VOOM Satellite company did. I don't want to keep losing channels at random. Even though I'm not a VOOM fan, I still not sure that was the proper way to drop them

If you are that unhappy or concerned, cancel and go to Directv. E* hasn't taken away anything that I ever watched so I have no concerns. The sports packages that D* has I wouldn't subscribe to anyways so that isn't a concern

i voted very worried. i have been very worried for a year now and i still don't like where things are heading. other than the hardware there is nothing else going for E right now. If D gets it together with the dvr's especially since they're entering a deal with tivo i will say by to E once and for all. this thing about not knowing if a fav channel of yours will be there in the morning is total bs!

DirecTV back with TIVO. This means that their DVR's will suck less. But even when they were with Tivo back a while ago, they still stank somewhat.

The other issues appear to be resolving ok. There is sufficient SATs for backup in their fleet and with the XI SAT in service that's still fine. All that really remains to clean it all up in my eyes is Ciel-2 and I'm expecting that to launch fine. The service provider for the launches really has to stay on top of the failures and work hard to prevent future failures.

I suspect that the provider has worked extremely hard to prevent a future failure on launches.

you can say that because you haven't been hurt this way yet. what will you say the day E takes on of your fav channels? you and I should never have to worry about this. In my 10 years with E I've seen this a few times and i think it's childish on Charlies part.

I'm not unhappy with the current line up at all. I'm not leaving E* Thats why I'm concerned. I'm invested in a company I chose for a reason. Leaving E* is not going to help it. Maybe pointing out the weakspots will help it , Instead of leaving them unaware you know things. I'm not one to close my Eyes or not be heard. I'm sure most are well aware of that. I'm doing this for us ,Not E* even if 1 important person hears it ,its better then nothing.
