Anyone noticed that Dish launched a new website today at DishNetwork.com?

Looks good, it also looking like they are going to be launching remote scheduling soon as well.

I think the next week is going to be a very interesting week. ;)

If the remote scheduling ends up working as advertised it will be time for me to drop my AT&T bundle and also take advantage of the 1¢ Cinemax...

Hey, did anyone know that the 625 is really a ViP 625?!?! If you look at the receivers section of the site, click on DVR's and then on the picture of the 625 (where it says click to enlarge). In the photo of the 625 it says ViP 625. Is there something we don't know about yet?!?! Someone obviously made a mistake when putting the image together! Oops!

You guys will love the remote scheduling. There have been times I have scheduled something to record while I was at work. It is cool when he forget or when something breaking comes up that you want to watch later.

vip625 - does that mean we can connect an external hard drive to it? My guess is no. I thought all vip receivers had usb 2.0

I see no reason to ever use the remote scheduling feature since I can only watch my tv from home. Seems kind of silly to try to go online to schedule a timer when I am sitting right next to my tv and my tv 2 remote control. But I am sure somebody at work with access to computers, might care about it.

Well you could be out of town and see a show/special coming up that you will want to watch... If you had access to a computer you could set the timer so it would be waiting for you when you got home. Of course, if you had a smart phone like the iPhone you could probably set the timer anywhere.
