Iam trying to set up my old dish 500 at my barn. Recently had HD put i my house. I took one of my SD receivers to the barn which is about 400 feet from my house. I ran a switch check and it says quad 500 device is installed. I have a 77 signal on sat 119 I also have a 45 signal stringth on sat 129 which I do not need.
I am getting all channels from the 119 sat.
My elevation is set at 37 degrees and skew is at 120.
What do I need to change to pick up the 110 sat instead of 129?
Should The dish be moved up, down, East, or West?

Thanks

Try moving about 9 degrees to the east.

Laddyboy is right, just move it east a bit. You are getting the 119 satellite on the 110 LNB and 129 on the 119 LNB.

dish is too low

Your elevation says 37, but your getting 129, so your pipe or mast is crooked. it's leaning down. Basically the dish is too low, so you're missing 110.

slide off the dish, make the mast perfectly level(or close) with a bubble carpenters level on front and side of the pipe.
Then set the elevation to what the screen says you should set it to for your zip code.

If you're not that picky about signal strength, raise the elevation to 39-40, and move the front of the dish to the east, ever so slightly and you'll get 110/119, instead of 119/129
