I know several of you know I did this when 61.5 lit up with spotbeams. Well now it is time to check on Ciel-2 at 129. Please note that some spotbeams are not lit up yet. For instance I have two of them over my location but I do not see any signal from them.

I'm sure the Dish folks would love to see some of the data we can provide on Ciel-2 from out in the field. I'm sure they already see some of the data when the receiver does a health check but there's nothing wrong with providing more data.

So here's what we need to do. I would like signal strengths from transponders 1-16,21, and 22 from 129. "Hey! Isn't 21 & 22 CONUS?" Yes! But I want to see a transponder reading from both CONUS RHCP and LHCP for comparative purposes. Basically to see how well your dish is aligned.

Please copy and paste this template:

Receiver type: 722, 622, etc
Dish: Dish 500 (no I adapter), Dish 500 (w/ I adapter), Dish300, Dish 1000.2, etc.

I am assuming you don't mean to compare LHCP to RHCP... Won't there be too many variables, e.g. receiver/firmware, water in the air, peaked to a different sat, LNB age/type, etc. etc. to make such readings useful?

No, I want to compare your CONUS readings to your spotbeam readings. If you are getting low spots across the board even in the spot(s) designed for you, the CONUS readings will tell the whole story.
