To fill in the backstory.... Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford, and Sammy Davis were known as the Rat Pack and used to go hanging around together to various shindigs..... Angie Dickinson wound up getting herself into the group by partying just as hard, playing poker with the guys, etc., and just being part of the gang by fitting in.

That was the metaphor I was going for. Sorry if it was too esoteric.....
