...How 'bout you?...
Same place as always - in my pool! A week of kick-back abuse of sun and beer is a great combination for me. Crank-up the tunes and enjoy. No neighbors to complain. Get in the pool at about 9AM and stay in until early evening, mostly floating around in my chair with the beverage(s) of choice and a couple of magazines. Only get out to pee. Might have a new grille by then, but the old ones will get a work-out otherwise. Might have a few friends over...if they bring more beer or the grilleable food of choice for the day. No place I'd rather be for the most part...

That's good to know, in case I ever visit.:)

That I agrea on, summer time in Michigan there are some great places to go to and enjoy the beach or dunes or forests or just a few days at the outlette mall. Then theres also winter time at Frankenmuth and if your a German and Christmas fan then this is the place to go in December but really any time of the year. Summer time in Michigan for me was always Silver Lake sand dunes for little vacations and Ann Arbor the rest of the time and occasional day trips down to Adrian to see a friend and his family and enjoy the countryside.

Spring time now is a trip to Savanah GA usually after memorial day in early to mid June but if you dont like the heat then stay away July through early September. I've also heard that the Blueridge mountains are nice and places like Hellen Georgia are nice as well as Cherokee NC.

Future plans at about the 4 year mark is a trip to Tokyo to see the sites and all the newest stuff and meet up with some aquaintances, I've got some language books on order to get ready and start learning.

Headed to Pompano Beach / Ft Lauderdale / Palm Beach,FL... 4/17 - 4/30....... Can't wait 4 sun, fun, beach, and beer........Not to mention, checking out all the half-naked women on the beaches............How 'bout you?

Pompano beach, thats my home..enjoy! If you great places to eat..or do

let me know..

Been there a number of times while my mother was a resident in John Knox Village for 11+ years. Unfortunately I did not have a lot of opportunities to venture out, but we did find a few good restaurants. Sea Watch was my favorite...

Best Greek food- I have ever had!

Seawatch...excellent! Go half a mile south, on left is the best greek food i have ever had.

Greek Islands Taverna...

Just before Oakland Park blvd.

Road trip to "Sin City" I was going to drive to Dallas Tx from Oregon but instead everyone will just meet in Vegas for a week. Great rooms are stupid cheap with lots of things for adults to do even if you don't gamble. :)

Outer Banks, NC in early summer with a bunch of familia.

The wife and I are also thinking about an open road drive across country via Route 66, taking in as many Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives along the way...

:up:up it is a true blast from the past!! have done it twice from st louis, so missed the IL part. if you can take your time see all the side things, that are left. you will love it. once you get to LA, again if you have the time take the PCH up to SF. breathtaking!!

Yeah, I've been reading a lot into this. This trip is sounding like an pure old time Americana voyage! I'm even thinking of renting a convertible to allow for better viewing along the way.

And since I'm coming from Cleveland, I'll drive to Chicago and go from there all the way through.

Taking a cruise to the Mexican Riviera in April & going to the Winter Olympics in 2010 in the Vancouver area.
And also I'm going to Columbus OH in June for a week.My ex lives there and me & her are still great friends !

The wife & I were planning to go to China, but it looks like that is put indefinitely on the back burner.
