It's nice E* has finally made the HD channels for the Sherman, TX - Ada, OK market available.

On the downside, the HD channel for KSWO (ABC) in Lawton, OK is still nowhere to be found. The NBC, FOX and CBS affiliates in Wichita Falls are duplicated in HD on both the E*12 and Ciel 2 satellites.

I'm wondering what is going on. Technical problems maybe? KSWO's HD channel was shown as "added" in the 4XXX channel range back in May (which didn't make much sense since it was originally slated for the 5150 channel). Manangement at KSWO has told me E* has a retransmission agreement to carry KSWO in HD and that they've done all they can to encourage E* to add it into their channel lineup.

They always add the channels in the 4XXX range for staging purposes I assume. When they are ready to go they flip them over to the 5XXX range.

Me too. Since it seems that the MO of Dish is to first uplink the channels but as "not available", THEN, a week or more after that to make them available, I was hoping to see some HD for PR uplinked. If this is the only uplink today it could mean that we will not have new HD until at least the later days of June...

Hope Dish keeps their promise this time. Actually my installer who was readjusting my dishes in Jan told me that Dish will have abt 45-50 HD channels by Aug of this year. At that time I didnt believe him since it was the same last year. But now it seems that rumour might be true.

The only problem for me is if Dish will let me upgrade to HD box....like the offers that is given to existing subs in the states. I m not interested in paying anything to get HD boxes ATM....even though would love some HD channels to feed my HDTV besides Blu & 360

The channel number definitely indicates a national HD channel that would be made available to Dish Latino HD subscibers as well as Dish HD subscribers.
