Wesley Crusher....er... Will Wheaton... to appear on BBT

I think they pushed it back to April from what I read on a twitter feed, but I could be wrong.

Yes, they pushed it back to April 12. I think all the CBS sitcoms are moving back a week or two because of the Charlie Sheen thing. Two and a Half Men does not have enough episodes. I think we are getting a couple of repeat weeks mixed in.

He was the "Will Robinson" of TNG, I can't watch the episodes where he was featured prominently of TNG now ... ;)

What you can't stand that the fate of the Enterprise was in the hands of some prepubescent male, multiple times.

Really, the fate of the Federation's Flagship being in the hands of a 13-15 year kid several times. Hundreds of crew with vastly more education and training and the ship turns to a 15 year kid to save their collective butts. Truly those episodes were the stupidest of the TNG arc.

BTW Lost in Space was one of the Lamest ever Science Fiction shows. If any sane individual was commander on the Jupiter Two He/She would have marooned Doctor Smith on some deserted planet or he would have died in an accident within one week.

Yesterday's Enterprise is how Will Cusher should have been handled. He should have been a crew member from the beginning and really he should not have been Dr. Crusher's kid either. It would have worked if he was some sort of boy genius that got through the academy at a young age and was very mature for his age.

I never could stand how it worked in the series, some kid wants to drive the starship and his mother gets it to happen...

I actually got to meet Wil Wheaton on the set of "The Screen Savers" (TechTV) back in the day. VERY nice guy, more than willing to sign autographs (at the time i had no idea who he was, thought he was a famous blogger) and willing to take photographs.

It's funny to see him play a bully on BBT, considering that he's such a nice person in real life.

It's all perception.
Wesley Crusher was 14 in the first episode. "The Traveler" (Where No One Has Gone Before), not his mother, got him on the bridge by imploring with the captain to cultivate the boy's genius. Wesley got thrown off the bridge in a previous episode. That's the one where his mother got him on the bridge to look around, not as crew.

Name the episodes where Wesley saved the enterprise single-handed. I bet you can't. ("The Game" was the closest one I can think of and he was a 19-20 year-old first year cadet. And really it was Data who saved the day)

Name the episodes where Wesley imperiled the ship and crew through his actions based on inexperience (The Naked Now, Evolution, The Dauphin, etc)

See ya

I never disliked Wesley Crusher. Yeah, it was silly having a kid using the warp drive for a science experiment, but I rolled with it. :)

I do NOT like evil Wil Wheaton much, but as long as its just a couple of episodes it has some humor.. His first BBT episode was funnier than the second. "DId he just say revenge is a dish best served cold in Klingon?" That was good. :D
