if i order the super station packages on dish will i pick up any mlb or nba games or do they black them out ?? if they dont what can i pick up?

i am new here hello everyone:)

The Boston station blacks out whatever Red Sox games they have...the two NYC stations will broadcast the Mets/Yankees games they show

The Boston station has no Red Sox games anymore. I would wait a few days before subbing to the supers.

To see if they are still there since there is no SHVERA extension. I would suspect that if they do go away they will return with the distant nets but I would not sub until I knew what the story is/

I think it's down to 25 games a season OTA. Maybe once a week, maybe less.

You'll get Mets games most every Sunday, with an occasional Friday or Saturday night game. The Yankees have occasional games on Friday nights mostly. Check both teams schedules on their websites to see what games will air on WPIX and WWOR. You can subscribe to individual superstation channels for $1.50 a month per channel. You don't have to subscribe to the whole package if all you're interested in are the sports broadcasts.

I think WGN has Cubs and Whitesox games also Bulls

They do carry some of those games but it isn't part of the superstations package. You'll need AT200 or above for WGN. You'll get some Yankees, Mets and Knicks games on the Superstations. I have also caught some of the Thursday Night Football games that are on NFL Network for the Patriots on the Boston station. KTLA USED to show some Clippers games but they no longer air any games.

Encouraging? MediaBiz
...the distant signal programming may well continue as Leahy has exhorted the DBS operators to "temporarily maintain the status quo."

RE: HD

What is the primary reason that the Superstations subscribers aren't offered the HD feeds of the channels? Is it contractual (program providers protecting the local markets with the HD feeds), transponder space, or something else.

If its transponder space...how much more space would 5 conus hd feeds take up as compared to 5 spotbeamed hd feeds?
