QVC will be the first hd channel that I block.

As for Shorts HD, I think it is the third channel to go with Indieplex and REtroplex movie channels in the Plat pack.

A few points here:

-on the chat they mentioned 9 HD channels yet the video clip that followed mentioned only 6

-i'm excited for TCM-HD but not super excited. There's a thread on AVS aout TCM-HD and it seems very few movies are actually HD at this point

-lastly, why april? Why not now? Contract thing??

Shorts is not worth it. I never watched it with uverse and its a waste! They would be better off launching IFCHD

I miss monsters hd too.but we know that isnt ever going to happen with charlie and the dispute

U know all these channels like HD movies, or MGM HD & universal channel all used to be commercial free now they starting shove some commercials middle or some in end each movies , like universal HD and MGM HD starting doing that for few months now , probably that new Retro & indie channel will after few months too .so basically we paying $10 a month for Hd plat to see bunch channels works like regular channels! ..Then better just stick with good old HBO/SHOWTIME OR STARZ then and canceling the HDPLAT just wasting the $10 box!

Yep, I would rather have dish concentrate on other areas such as HDRSN's or Superstations in HD. Add cable channels such as AMCHD that they are mising or ESPNU. Save the specality channels for after they have all the basics covered. The ones they have now are enough. Once they get additional room, they can launch the specalty stuff then.
