NEW HD/CH in april?

Was real quick and pass by in the last Charlie chat on Monday night, that dude sits next to Charlie, says we get some new HD channels sometimes on April..
Was wondering if U guys have any info about it?

From what I've heard, in April (don't know what part of the month) two new HD channels will launch (they are in testing now). TCM HD and HLN (Headline News) HD

There is another one going up in testing today as well which is History Channel International HD.

I believe that Shorts HD, QVC HD, EPIX HD and Outdoor Channel HD are still up in testing as well.

TCM-HD would be phenomenal. I have it now on cable but the quality s***s (although it's miles better than TCM-SD).

When Charlie referred to new HD at the beginning of the chat he sort of mumbled something about "of course there'll be a couple of more HD channels in April" and waved his hand dismissively, like it was no big deal. It's like he really believes the demand for some of these newer national HD channels isn't that great (who knows, maybe he's right ).

That part of Charlie Chat was odd... Charlie starts talking about 9 new HD **by** April, then the other guy (sorry, I forget...) says they're already out, and shows a promo for BBCA, etc. And that was it... No further inkling of anything more, or an explanation of the April date...

Would love to see TCM, Fox Movies, AMC all in HD. But right now I'm re-DVR-ing Dr. Who from SyFy's windowboxed "HD" to BBCA's full screen HD...

And if I could only get my PBSs in HD... I can only get one of the three with an OTA, and at that, the PG info is bad...

TCM HD would be a great addition. I refuse to watch that channel in SD.

HLN HD I don't care about one bit. We already get a bunch of news channels in HD that are boring already.

He was talking about the HD Version of ID that was in testing. The only channel I know with a Diamond Logo is Fashion TV (Channel 374)

That could be it, I don't know. I saw it also in a screen cap from someone showing off the 922...

Update: Definitely it. Thought I recalled a "j" in the diamond, but it's an "f"... One more not on my faves...

I interpreted his body language to mean, "It's no big deal for Dish to do this because Dish is putting up new HD all the time." Being completely unaware that Dish already had 9 new HD channels live on Feb 10 could be indicative of either interpretation.
