Since you mentioned its cable only you probably will get WPIX but that shows at its normal spot (230 something) and will show when you run the locals on Dish site. It will show under "locals"

The announcement comes moments after President Obama signed the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act of 2010 (STELA) into law, which paved the way for DISH Network to take this historic step.

On June 3, DISH Network plans to launch local channels in 29 new markets, introducing to many consumers a choice in television service for the first time ever. These markets include: Alpena, Mich.; Biloxi, Miss.; Binghamton, N.Y.; Bluefield, W.Va.; Bowling Green, Ky.; Columbus, Ga.; Elmira, N.Y.; Eureka, Calif.; Glendive, Mont.; Greenwood, Miss.; Harrisonburg, Va.; Hattiesburg, Miss.; Jackson, Tenn.; Jonesboro, Ark.; Lafayette, Ind.; Lake Charles, La.; Mankato, Minn.; North Platte, Neb.; Ottumwa, Iowa; Parkersburg, W.Va.; Presque Isle, Maine.; Salisbury, Md.; Springfield, Mass.; St. Joseph, Mo.; Utica, N.Y.; Victoria, Texas; Watertown, N.Y.; Wheeling, W.Va.; and Zanesville, Ohio.
The passage of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act of 2010 was made possible through the hard work and dedication of many members of Congress, including Chairman Patrick Leahy, U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary; Chairman Jay Rockefeller, U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation; Senator John Kerry, U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation; Chairman John Conyers, U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary; Chairman Henry Waxman, U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee; and Chairman Rick Boucher, U.S. House Energy Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet.

I live in the Binghamton DMA. There is a local Dish Network billboard stating that Dish has locals. I take that as starting June 3. I called and was told I didn't qualify. All the rep would tell me in his indian accent was "was because of FCC rules" When will Dish finally throw the switch to turn locals?

On another non-Dish related A/V forum with a Binghamton area reception thread someone mentioned their Dish OTA guide data went live a few days ago. So far I'm not seeing that and was wondering if anyone else was or if that poster was hallucinating.
Since my market (Salisbury, MD) is missing one of the big four (NBC), will Dish be importing this station from the Baltimore, MD dma?

4 from Salisbury (ABC, CBS, FOX, PBS) are on 119 and Baltimore will be on 110

Well thats just great, i have the eastern arc setup right now plus a wing dish at 110. I was planning on swinging the wing dish over to 119 for the locals. I didnt realize that Baltimore would be on 110
uh oh....sounds like Dish has an issue. They need to move the remapped Baltimore NBC to 119 otherwise the folks with EA cant get all their locals
I live in St. Joe, MO. Based on the Channel mapdowns, it appears that I will be getting CBS, NBC and FOX from Kansas City (along with ABC from St. Joe). However, those are SD channels. Do you know if Dish will also give me the HD channels for those 3? Or will I have to rely on AAD or OTA for HD still?
