Well that didn't take long, about 2 months and my HR23 is now off to the junk yard.
This morning woke up , no responce from the receiver.
Unplugged it , It then came back only to no respond to any remote commands.

R15 doesn't respond to any commands in IR mode thank god for RF.

Yep regretting my choice a little everyday.

So now when I call D* they will just send me the same crappy equipment.
Disappointed.:(

Atleast I got My $87 in credits finally, Only took 45 days.:(

I wish my 23 would lock up......seriously. lol

The wife called this morning and said our boxes would not power up, so i had her reset them and they are doing fine. First time I have ever had that type of issue.

This seems to be fairly wide spread. Seeing a lot of people with the same issue at the other site. I know 2 of my HR2x boxes had new software this morning. I didn't check the third. The one problem I had is that my Internet was down. Unplugging my router seemed to fix that and the two HR2xs I checked were ok. The only issue I noticed was the TV Apps function wasn't working but on demand was working. Seems like D* has had and system wide screw up. This has happened a couple of times before.

3 hard reboots, and nothing!:(

I may run home to check mine in a few. She said they were rebooting. I assume it all worked fine since I have not heard back. I really would not be upset if the 23 went out completely. lol

Reading some more at the other site and let me correct myself. This problem seems to be very widespread. Seems like there is a big software screw up going on. I don't think the problem is hardware. With so many having this issue it has to be software.

I agree. This is a software issue.

Hemi, how long did you unplug your box? You may have to leave it unplugged for a minute. Some people are having success by unplugging their boxes.

Has everyone that has had problems gotten the software update in the past week?

I unplugged it 3 times. I couldn't do the soft reboot because the receiver was completely unresponsive.

Still Nothing. I called D* He said the 3D Update Killed it.
On hold right now I got it to power up, He going to try sending a Manual update ( Never knew anything about that) that may fix the issue.
I'll keep you updated.

Two of mine went out but I just unplugged them this morning and they went back on. My other account at Lake Winnipesaukee went out as well. Told my wife to unplug them for about a minute now everything is fine. Looks like a software problem.

I hope the CSR can get you working but I still wonder how long box was unplugged. If it was a quick unplug/replug that probably won't do it. The people that have had success unplugging have left their boxes unplugged for about a minute.

But it sounds like yours may be beyond even that.

This seems to be nationwide. A major screw up. All 5 of mine were down, 3 HR20s and 1 HR21 came back with a RBR. The other HR21 took 2 RBRs.
