Way to expensive for that stuff, they need to make it a reasonable MONTHLY charge and they would get more money from it.

Yeah, everybody knows they can get free porn on the Internet. You can also get free movies, TV series, computer software and music free on the net.
But that being the case, many of us still subscribe to premium channels, buy TV series on DVD or BR, and buy audio CDs. My point isn't about availability, it is about the presentation of a channel and quality of movies.
I myself probably wouldn't even subscribe to a porn channel, but I feel one should be offered. A nice classy HD porno channel with bumpers promoting upcoming movies and specials. This is a far cry from a slummy porn site with pop up ads.
If you cannot tell the difference, well, that is your problem. Internet porn and a 24 hour hardcore channel are like apples and oranges.

OK< what I mean is, have a hardcore porn channel with "the works" and not just naked shots and kissing. This would be 24/7 for say $20 a month. Not purchased in blocks and not soft like Playboy. It is a rather easy concept to comprehend if you think about it for a minute.

No, they didn't drop any. There are a few western feeds missing from the listing of channels on their website but I verified they are still there last week at a relatives house. It was only two channels. Actionmax and Thrillermax West that were missing.

It looks like they temporarily took off 4 western feeds to make room for other HD channels while they finish upgrades..... how lame. They should take off QVC and HSN HD.. ha
Gotcha... good to know. Here's hoping you get them with D*. For me I have Starz so I'm all set and have more Starz HD then any provider
I guess I screwed it all up by doing all of this stuff for real instead of watching it on tv.
But I understand how it must be for people who dont have that option.
I wish I got paid for it though. At least a small monthly fee.
I have all the movie channels and I find myself watching AMC more than any others. While HBO may be better for new releases, AMC kills all the rest when it comes to classics. I just wish it wasn't censored. Censorship sucks.
haha... so you are under the impression that porn is only watched by people that don't or cannot get any? While you may view yourself as too good for porn stud, there are literally MILLIONS of couples watching porn together each day.
Outside of a few hornball teenagers, it has nothing to do with how much action you get with a woman.
It is like some dude who plays on as local baseball team saying he doesn't need Extra Innings because he gets enough baseball in real life. They are not the same thing. People with very active sex lives (men and women) enjoy porn. Don't act like you are "above it." It isn't about that at all.If you personally don't watch it, fine. I don't watch much myself either. But don't act like it is because you get so much action. Again, it isn't about that at all. I am saying that a 24/7 hardcore subscription porn channel would be good for business. DirecTV would make a profit and fill a huge void. Instead they r@pe customers with overpriced movies on Demand.

i should have been more specific.I was referring to the porn movies on demand specifically. Like $10.99 for a few hour block or whatever. A straight up HD porn channel for $20 or $30 a month would probably sell like hotcakes.

Yeah, I was specifically referiing to the porn but either way, I don't ever order PPV. I either buy Bluray/DVDs or wait for the content to land on a premium channel.
