I've bolted on a Superdish FSS to a Dircway dish and original feed horn trying for 74° Horizons 2. But the only TP I know of is 11734 H 6616. Being horizontal I know it will be shifted up in freq, but where? I can't blind scan if I'm not pointed, and I can't point if I don't know what to put in for freq.

That tp has changed to 11747 H 6616 , just recently. Try that ! Good luck.
:)

Ok Brent,

Thanks for the update on the TP freq change, however it is still going to up shift to a new higher frq with the fss lnb. Seems I saw somewhere on this board how to calculate in advance so I can plug it in to my receiver for dish pointing.

Panek,

That was the ticket. Went back out to the dish, plugged in those numbers using standard osc 10750 found it in one pass!

Here is a picture of the setup I tried to post earlier. I need some lessons on how to do that.

on a stacked KU LNB take the H frequency from 24600...or if your receiver has a OCS option that works too ;)

I have one of those things, but have yet to try it on a dish for that reason, haha. I'm one of those "measure twice, cut three times guys' . In other words, my math skills stink.
Not a bad dish, I have the exact same thing pointed at 95W right now.
