What will it take for TNA to be successful?

Bubba says Team 3D is the best.. and The Gangsta's hit the ring!!

Gangstas bring a guitar, garbage can, staple gun, and the kitchen Sink!

Just like old time The Gangstas music plays the entire time and they beat the hell out of the Dudleys..

Gertner gets killed by a guitar shot to the head....

And then the music stops and they all hug as the crowd yells THANK YOU!

The ring is a mess!

We go to a taped segment with raven....

Here comes Mick Foley in his ref shirt.

Next out comes Johnny Polo... I mean Raven...

They show Beulah and her and Tommy's two kids...

Next Tommy Dreamer hits the ring... He goes and gives Beulah and the kids a kids before he gets in the ring.

The fighting gets out in front of Tommys kids and tommy gets busted open... Security comes out and takes his kids away to the back.

Tommy is busted open bad.

Raven is taking total control of this match...

Tommy grabs a sign from the crowd and hits raven and busts him open. Tommy tears the paper off the sign and it says DEAD END. Tommy goes and brings a ladder and brings it in the ring.

Some amazing action with the ladder.

Dreamer driver on Raven and he does not go for the pin...

Does the sign spot into Raven... goes under the ring and gets some barbed wire.. (with no barbs on it...)

The BWO comes out and beats up foley... Nova and meanie are taken out by Dreamer...

Raven knock dreamer don and gets a 2 count. Raven yells at Mick and Mick beats up raven and hits him with socko...

Ravens Lackey comes in and Mick Foley punches him and gives him a barbed wire socko.

Raven slaps handcuffs on Dreamer grabs a chair and beats the hell out of him.

Beulah comes out and steps beteen raven and tommy...

Beulah puches raven in the nuts...

Dreamer hits raven with a ddt while in the cuffs...

Raven hits dreamer with a DDT of his own and gets the 3 count for the win (big surprise there...)

Kind of shocked at that ending... :(

Tommy goes up the ramp with Beulah and mouths Thank You to the fans as they fade out to a Spike TV promo.

They pay tribute to Paul Haymen....

The gangstas cut a promo in the backstage

Mustapha takes So Cal Val away as his bitch and that leaves New Jack and Borash. Guess Borash is New Jack's bitch :)

Time to the main event...
w
Rob Van Dam and Sabu.

Sabu looks funny with no hair. His head is totally shaved.

Air Sabu flies again... Classic match...

It was an OK night. Yes some of the guys looked like they know how to work but a few of the matches I just sat there and thought "well they'll do this (insert random move) again" like they do every match

And WTF was the whole gangstas hugging the Dudleys? I thought New Jack wanted to kill (legit) the Dudleys?

I just wish folks would quit with these "reunions" things....cripes let ECW just ride off into the sunset as alot of us remembered it.

I don't say this often about TNA, but I'm actually intrigued by this Fortune vs. EV2.0 angle. Hopefully they won't blow it, because it has a lot of potential. I also enjoyed the Reaction show that is on after Impact.
I agree. This is the freshest angle seen from TNA in quite some time! Combined with the sanitized offerings from the WWE, this is golden opportunity for TNA.

well I got around to watching TNA today (from this past Thursday) and seriously....if those matches they had were "pay per view" caliber matches....no wonder why they do 8000 buys

the only issue with TNA is you can read the spoilers and make your own judgment beforehand ;)

Paul Heyman says TNA isn't "ready" for him..Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 08/16/2010 at 02:42 PM Credit: PWInsider.com ...In an interview with MMAFighting.com, Paul Heyman comments on his talks with TNA. ...."They're not ready for me. They're not there yet. I kind of have self-justified my own interest in TNA as a network of stock and ownership. I left pro wrestling in December 2006 and I haven't done one shoot DVD, one convention appearance, one cameo. I haven't done anything on wrestling." Heyman said that TNA still doesn't know what they want their vision to be. He also said they've been looking for an immediate answer and not focusing on long-term planning. Heyman mentioned that if he was a legend in TNA, he wouldn't want himself in the company. "If you were over 40, I'd chop your f***ing head off." "I want a guy who is entering the prime of his career and shape him and mold him."

“I’d imagine a lot of the old TNA guys are feeling like they’re taking a back seat. The thing is…you can’t argue with the numbers. Last week TNA broke new all-time records for ratings! TNA needed a change. The 6-sided ring and the great technical wrestlers -that nobody knew-wasn’t working. TNA brought in two rock stars, and look at the company now! Dixie often points out how hiring Jeff Hardy and RVD started a whole new era, why do some of the wrestlers not see it? Too, young, too green, too selfish to have the correct perspective. Whereas some of the TNA “stars” are lucky to get recognized walking around the studios, Jeff and myself live like actual celebrities, signing autographs and taking pictures EVERYWHERE we go. Without experiencing this, it’s probably hard to imagine. In fact, very few wrestlers stick out in people’s minds the way that Jeff and I do. WE love our fans and we love their love.

TNA is blowing up. Good things will come our way and I see it all happening now. This is a very exciting time. More people watching TNA means more people exposed to the other wrestlers on the card too…as long as they’re good enough to hang around with the rising standards.”

RVD Upsets Many With Controversial Comments

Interesting comments from the Whole F'n Show. :D I'll take what he's smoking.

Impact and Reaction ratings both down. Also includes ratings for Superstars and its replay.

IMPACT, REACTION AND SUPERSTARS RATINGS
By Dave Scherer on 2010-08-20 18:29:01 The 8/19 edition of Impact did a 0.97 rating, with 1,350,000 viewers. That is down from the 1.15 that company did for their Whole F'n special last week, and down from the 1.2s that the company was doing as their built up to the Hardcore Justice PPV. I wonder what Eric Bischoff will write about on his website this week. Maybe focus groups need to be chosen more carefully perhaps?
Reaction also dropped this week more precipitously than Impact, doing a 0.62 rating and 824,000 viewers. Last week's debut did a 0.87.

The 8/19 edition of Superstars did a 0.63 rating, with 671,000 viewers.

The replay did a 0.25 rating, with 238,000 viewers.
