I got home tonight to a 722 with only HD channels showing for, for example let's say I tune too 200 it goes to CNN HD but if I scroll under one channel it isn't there like it used to be, I have tried rebooting, check switch and selecting all channels from the guide? Any ideas guys? Maybe it needs a rehit by dish perhaps?

Glad to hear you figured it out, this change was part of the latest software release.

Thanks Zach! but I wish I knew this beforehand but that's alright, by the way I like this software update gives you more options now with regards to the layout of the guide and channel layout, also I like the audio leveling (seems to work fairly well)

If the HD channel is available why would you want to see the SD channel? ;)
(unless rain causes the HD feed to go out yet SD is still up)

If you are recording a lot.. and don't have A ehd.. It helps on the amount of space you use..

I can record over way 50 hours of HD on my 722. If you need more than that you really need an EHD. To record in SD just because you can get more material on the HD is just not right.

Iceberg, yes you are correct there are times when I loose 129 but yet still have 110/119 hence being able to watch the SD untill the rain passes makes everythig a little less annoying

Gotta Love Satellite Guys

My wife likes to record the SD version of certain daily shows like Judge Judy, the news and a few other things to maximize storage space on the 722. She noticed the missing SD listings today. Thanks to all you guys for the solution.

BTW - This change has NOT hit the VIP612 yet.

Yeah so far, the 722, 722k, 622, 222k and 211k have now gotten it. Still waiting on the 612, 222, 211, and maybe the old 411(?) figuring that it's same/similar to the 211.

Yep, the old 411 shares the same software with the 211. Yeah I would imgaine that it would but as far as anything official I haven't heard anything.
