Hi Guys, I have a dilemma. I just moved and wanted faster streaming, as I was stuck at 3 Mb with Qwest for the last 2 years so I chose Comcast. My package states "up to" 25 Mb speed so I got it.

On my computer, I get speeds up to 18 Mb. On my Blu Ray player I get VUDU's speed test off the chart, Amazon is always HD and rock steady, but Netflix is no better than the 3 Mb I had with Qwest. I have connected in HD about 4 times, but it always resets down to 3 Mb after awhile of watching.

My Blu Ray is directly connected to the Modem, my laptop is wireless. I'm very frustrated, as Netflix is the backbone of my TV viewing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The issue with comcast is the 250 GiG max..easy to hit when u watch alot of HD..what device are u using to watch netflix? Is it a wireless laptop or a desk top?..It could be a wireless router issue or comcast could be throttleing netflix 9again)

Maxing out is not my problem, it's been dog slow since the install. As I stated, everything except Netflix is streaming HD. I connected after I posted at HD but it only lasted for 10 minutes then it bumped down to about 1.5 Mb speed. Very frustrating.

I am watching with a Panasonic Blu-ray player that is connected directily to the modem via an ethernet cable.

You issue may very well be with your Panasonic Blu-ray player. I have a Samsung BD player and an XBOX and the XBOX out plays the Sammy for Netfilx streaming quality and stability by a long shot.
