NFL RZC asking if I want to purchase

DirecTV gave me the RZC this year for free but when I got to channel 703 I get a message asking if I want to purchase for $44.99.

Anyone else getting this?

Maybe they decided to go against the months of denial and offer it as a standalone.

Got it fixed. Just needed to resend auth to all receivers.

See Harsh, a simple re-auth. The sky isn't falling. Just give all the negativity a rest and engage in meaningful dialog. You will live longer or not develop an ulcer and allow the rest of us to enjoy the board much better. IMHO

Same problem here, same solution... A quick reauthorization (sign in and go to https://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/mydirectv/mysystem/mySystemResendAuthorization.jsp ) and we're back up and running...

I didn't say that the sky was falling.

What I noted was that for several months (and it apparently continues today), CSRs have been vehemently denying that RZC is available standalone. On the contrary, people now seem to be offered the channel without calling in and begging/browbeating/not-threatening-to-cancel -- albeit for $44.99.

I believe the $44.99 is the weekly charge for ST (including RZC) and not just for RZC for season... I'm geting RZC and any of the other ST channels I turn to ask if I want to buy it for $44.99.

You can buy it for just the day for $44.99. However, I called this morning and I was lucky enough that they gave me the RZC for free for the season. I had cancelled the ST prior to the season. 3 year subscriber.

So, not that I mind, but I have (and have had every year it's been available) the RZC, though I've never asked for it, or never ordered it. I'm watching it today, so I checked under "more info" for the channel, and sure enough, it says that I am authorized for this program.
Again, I'm not complaining, but, how does this happen?
I do have, and pay full price for, Sunday Ticket, Center Ice, and Extra Innings.
I was actually planning on calling them tomorrow, and seeing if they can give me some kind of deal on my bill, ( the 3 sports + premier + HD extras pack + 1 HDdvr & 2 HD receivers), as it's getting a little crazy
Do you think having the RZC may hurt my chances with other credits? I've been with DTV for about 5+ yrs now, and obviously entered a new 2 year deal last November when I finally went HD. (& got the HDdvr free)

If you HAVE the ST, you HAVE the RZC, it's part of the ST.

It's never hurts to ask about a better deal, unless you do it all the time ...

I would give them a call.
If your up to date on your bill and haven't had any late bills, they should help you some.
