Force 922 to download new guide information

I can't figure out how to get the 922 to force download the guide data. On my 722k you do a check switch and everything goes from there but on the 922 the check switch doesn't download the guide data. Anybody have a shortcut? Thanks!

Got the 922 over the weekend for free with the promotion. Everything is working well so far!

The 922 downloads the guide when the receiver is off if I recall. I would just put it in standby and let it do its thing for a couple hours. I also would let it update to the latest software before setting timers or anything. You will enjoy it quite a bit.

Ditto. Turn it off and wait a few minutes to an hour and it updates on it's own. You can force one with a check switch run like the other VIP receivers.

Or, straight from Broad Band support, clear tge check switch matrix and start again. As in, remove sat feed, perform check switch (let it go all the way thru), when done replace sat feed, run check switch, this will help.

I meant to say you CAN NOT force one like the other Vip receivers. Left out the 'T on the previous post.
