Does anyone have any tips for how I can watch ESPN3?

I have been arguing with Time Warner Cable all night about holding ESPN3 hostage since I have their Internet (only option) but Directv for actual TV. They (TWC) are claiming that I must be a subscriber to their TV service to watch ESPN3. I live in an area where I can't watch Stanford play this weekend and I would like to do that. Is this worth contacting Directv? I feel they'll make me pay $25 to watch it in the channel 788-792 range, but if they'd throw WABC just for the night, I'd be more than happy.

This happened last week, too, and I tolerated it - even after being told on the phone that a local place "certainly has ESPN game plan" and then arriving and asking for it again when I got there to see 2-0-6 appear on the screen and then realizing they didn't know the difference between ESPN game plan and ESPN. They let me play around with the remote, but the 788-792 range was not active. *face palm*

Thanks in advance.

While I don't have TWC, I have BUCKEYE Cable System for my internet and D* forTV, They allow me to have espn3 as long as I have their internt ...

Mediacom does the same.

To the OP, TWC gets to make their own rules, and unfortunately for you, they made the one that is keeping you from getting ESPN3. :(

please read the responses before trying to actually put up an argument

NYC is carrying the game on WABC and the big 4 nets are CONUS

so it doesnt matter how many spotbeams cover NC. The fact he could "move" feasibly to NY for the weekend solves his issues
