Does anyone have any info on this could this be a new FTA channel?

A company that we work with has been involved with McD digital signage installations. The inhouse channel delivery will be by IP.

A 24/7 Mickey D's infomercial? IP only? Boy did we dodge the bullet there! Can you imagine the questions over that channel? ;)

It will probably be as interesting as the Macy's Channel, and you'll get hungry watching it ;) ...
If the McDonalds channel shows as many hamburgers, as that Macy's thing shows Thanksgiving Day parades, we've got nothing to worry (or care) about. :D

No McNasty for me either:D

yeah those at the pumps are scary.....You grab the hose to fill up and the TV screams at you "Welcome to Holiday Stationstores" and then tries to show a 12 second weathercast

I haven't seen any of those around here yet. If it scared me I'd probably smash it!

Not seen the TVs on gas pumps here yet.

The gas pump screens are everywhere here. Sometimes its something semi-useful and quiet like a slide of the 5 day forecast. On the more annoying ones, they try very loudly to sell you something. All this while the gas pump fills your tank and empties your wallet  ...

No screens on gas pumps here either. The -40 winter temps will likely keep them away... one advantage of living up north!
Guess some pumps do have LCD screens for indicators but they don't work well in the cold either, just like the receipt printer.

Some gas stations around here have TVs on top of the pumps. Bad enough with commercials on TV, now we're captive at the pump while filling up too.
Several years ago, they put those in where I went for gas.
After a couple of fill-ups, I changed stations.

And regarding McD food, I am not so sure it's any worse than all the other fast-food places.
I prefer Carl's, but haven't been there a handful of times this year.
Some friends and I have a weekly lunch at a Del Taco.
Once a month I might hit a Burger King.
Out here, Jack In The Box has a new scrambled egg breakfast - I tried one last month, and was surprised.
It's up to the buyer to make an informed decision.
