Second hopper isn't free though. Plenty of customers will avoid getting a second hopper because of the $199 charge. Even though the second hopper and joey have the same lease fee, you're still paying quite a bit more upfront for one versus the other.One thing that I do not understand regarding the pricing structure is the Hopper having the same monthly fee as a Joey. If I wanted a Hopper and a Joey for HD viewing capability on two HDTVs, why not get another Hopper and have 6 SAT tuners? This reason alone is why Dish missed the mark on the fee structure. I hope that the comments received on this board will "encourage" Dish to integrate a Joey free with the first $7.00 Hopper fee.

Well, you could pay full price and BUY, and avoid the commitment. Can't have our cake and eat it too.
