When will dish announce a release date?

Talked to customer service today and they said that dish is keeping tight wraps on the pricing and release date. I just wanna know when we can have an install date set up or even if we can go on a waiting list?

I believe Scott has already confirmed that the Hopper/Joey won't be on their computer system until 3/15.

So, the first date would be 3/15 and there is no waiting list unless you're able to find a local retailer to do something for you.

March 15th is the release date and the date that you could set up an install. You could contact a local retailer and ask to be put on their Hopper waiting list....

We already have a bunch of hopper and joeys stacked up in our warehouse. Don't think you will have to worry about being on a waiting list for them. Just wait till the 15 th

Having the equipment is one thing. Having the installers and time to do it is another. Could take a week to get caught up in some areas.

Cool deal. My gift card from dish is on its way so it will be here just in time for me to use. So even if it's 99 bucks for existing customers which I've heard it is, using that gift card, hopper will be free In theory.

I honestly have no idea. I bet we only install a few Hoppers this month. One will be in our showroom, one in my house and we have about 3 customers waiting. It's going to take some good marketing and I hope it works.
