In January I Dish installed the 625 dual receiver. This morning the 2nd TV will not pick up the signal. The remote does work and the light is on at the front of the main receiver where it says TV2. The television is working also and is on the correct channel (60) I think. I haven't changed it since last night for sure. Any advice besides call the tech?

Also every now and then the main receiver says "hard drive failure" and tells me to unplug the receiver and plug it back in. I never do and it goes on working okay when I push a button.

press menu 6 1 5 on tv1 remote to see what the rec is set to and make sure tv2 is in the same mode either cable
or air

If a rescan on TV2 does not work, there is a possibility that the wiring/receiver is defective. If your new 625 is already reporting hard drive failure, you should get in touch with one of the Dish Internet Response Team members and tell them which message you are receiving. Hopefully one will post in this thread to make it easier for you to find them. Otherwise, click the FORUM link at the top of this page, scroll down to the user list, click on any of the members in red, and drop them a PM.

The hard drive failure message is not a good sign. The receiver will likely fail in time. Please send me a PM with your phone number or account number, and I can get you details on replacing the receiver.
