Hello all:

A couple days ago, I had a new dish installed. I used to be on a 2-dish setup. I had been losing HD Channels like crazy, and Dish sent out a tech to get me setup with a brand new dish. I have all my channels back, and everything was working great.

However, yesterday, when I turned on the TV in my bedroom, I got an error message saying it was looking for a satellite signal. It's been doing that for a day now. I've verified that I'm on a duo setup, and I can use the DVR just fine from the 2nd TV.

Any ideas? I'd like to know how to fix this kind of stuff myself.

Thanks for your request. Please PM your account info (tel# on the account and PIN code) and our team will see what's happening. Another thing that will help in troubleshooting this to know the TVs connected as TV1, by the receiver, and TV2 in the alternate rooms. If you have the model number for the TVs, I can look up additional information that may shed light on the situation.

Thanks,:usa

Now the 922 won't record anything. I've done a reset on it a bunch of times. I think it's dying a slow death.

When DISH replaces a Dish or whatever you normally have a certain time to call back the installer and have them come back and fix it,if there is a problem.

If your 922 is dying make sure you have the DISH Service Plan on your account for replacement.Good Luck!:)

Dish replaced the receiver for no charge. It arrived via UPS last night. I'll be hooking it up today. I'll update y'all and tell you how it went.

Please remember the 922 comes default with Shared View OFF. You can be in Duo Mode, but you won't get anything at TV2 until you go into the menus and turn Shared View ON.

Actually, that didn't work. I had to choose mode from the front of the box, and then it worked fine. The replacement 922 is working great now!
