The Voice

She does seem to ramble a bit, but she looks good doing it.
I'm really not a fan of Jermaine, just don't care for his voice. I'm more a Jamar and Juliet fan at this point. I kinda like Tony Lucca after his Britney Spears rendiion last night. It was certainly an original take on Baby One More Time.

I may have to take a break from the UK for while. I just couldn't believe the coaches choices in the battle rounds this past weekend.

:mad::censored: weathermen!

I have a recording of a very colorful radar image with a repetitious moron spewing weather tips instead of the The Voice tonight. Guess it will get downloaded tonight.

The Aussies have changed it up a bit. The coaches can take a timeout during the Battle Rounds to consult their mentor, that they brought in, if they are having a tough time deciding on who to eliminate. I think it is a 30 sec timeout but it could be 45 or 60 seconds. Its hard to tell with the tv editing.

I thought the final 4 choices yesterday were good; liked how even when Blake and CeLo did a 60/40 split of their 100 points, it had no impact whatsoever on the outcome. And I think the finale should be good. I have a stinking feeling Mickey Mouse club guy is going to win it all, even though I don't think he is the most talented, but I am fine with anyone winning it. Such a rich pool of talent, it should be an interesting finale.

Adam weighting his vote 60-40 is the one that made a difference. The outcome would have been different without those 10 extra points

Never mind... You are right, if you subtract the 60 and 40 points, it would have ended up Tony 48 and Katrina 52. Or if he went 50/50, it would have been 98 - 102 instead of the 108 - 92.

So, it did make a difference, but I don't fault Adam for doing a split - considering he had to save Katrina twice.

I agree, I think Adam realized that Tony had a chance to win and Katrina didn't. I wasn't impressed with Katrina's performance Monday either.

I agree. He made the right choice - even though America would have gone the other way. I have a gut feeling Lucca will win the whole thing, but I am not excited about that. He is ok, but does not inspire me. Yeah, big whoop - he did a Brittany Speers song to tackle the MMC issue. He is good, but there are folks not on the show anymore who I liked better.

BUT its still such a great show, no complaints here. :)

I don't like the breathy quality of Juliet's voice (though she was mostly on-pitch Monday), and I don't think she will last a long time with it--more prone to irritation and problems, eventually leading to lack of power and more of the raspy quality. I'm glad all the guys got in, as I think each could win, though I wonder if the voters will go for Chris versus the other singing styles. Music selection will be critical!

Yeah, I don't think he can get away with opera this week.
