can we in the states get those (11546 V to 11684 V) tp's listed on Lyngsat ?
only have Standard lnb's on dishes here and wonder if should try a Universal.

Nope, nothing on those TPs with KU Lineal in Americas. I see reports for those TPs down in Brasil . The footprint for such sat is very confusing

I get nbc on 12052 H 6890 in Louisiana.I don't think it's a south American slot
There is also CW on c band

nope. There are 2 sats there
One (AMC6) is a North American satellite
The other (Nahuel 1) is for South America

What I could find out about Nahuel 1, it was retired around 2010. It was in orbital position 71.8W.

Besides this website I read about the retirement on an ARSAT (Argentina satellite company) site.

AMC6 at 72 West has KU beams that the foot print maps show, one for North America and one for South America.
I guess since there is not beam indication in Lyngsat for the Universal Transponders (in question) that they are the in the South American beam.
The Northern American info in Lyngsat does open up to a footprint map of North America.
