I have problems with this channels does not let me record the show or rewind a video I was watching it's strange since the channel became available it has this bug none of my 211 hd that has the external hard drive can record it does anyboday have this same problem

I have seen this before with some other channels. If like those it's a problem Dish has to fix on their end. (Unless you are the only one experiencing it)

Since day one I have not been able to record, it does not buffer the program. I am not the only one. That's why I don't watch it, even though it's a great channel but I don't watch live events, except the Stock Market on CNBC. What a waste. Puerto Rico always gets screwed one way or the other. That's great:mad:.

Where is the E* rep in this forum?????????????????????????? What is the answer???????

this is happening with the 211 only? 'cause i can record channel 4960 and the remap in HD at 162 with a 922

i recorded the two channels directly by pressing the REC button, i even recorded the 2 channels at the same time. never tried with an scheduled timer, but in a few minutes two timers will fire at the same time on the same channels, i'll keep you informed

Not in my 722K, 622, 612 and all of them. Como lo haces ( how do you do it ).

Just tried it on the 722K on both channels, played it back and a 5 minute recording lasted one second before it ended. I remember seen one of those 0 with the diagonal line across on the top right and it was in red which lasted about one second.

now i get! you all are correct, it records but there is no content available to watch in the dvr, so, is not recording at all, even when the tuners are occupied as if is recording and the tile for the recording is there. thanks for the info! the timers fires correctly, but when you try to watch it sends you to the live tv window. DIRT staff: how we can report this to tech?

The Puerto Rico rep has been on permanent vacation. :p

Just notify a DIRT member here, it can be fixed on the Dish end as has been done for other channels with this problem.

Same here

When most Americans think it's a "fern country" and even businesses treat it as an international market and different programming contracts apply to the providers from the channels themselves, it's no wonder.

A question though, can PR residents record these channels on other Dish receivers, or is it just the 211 having issues?

At least on HD the answer is no. No VIP STB will record it. What more proof is there than the people that have posted.

As far as the providers go I won't even comment any more. Yes we don't have reps in congress, we are not a state, we fight your wars though, but what the heck is not even in CONUS they say.

The market always prevails. It's like SONY HDTV division. Great in it's time and now having losses and more losses in their last few years. DISH is in the same boat, stuck in the the same customer base of 14 million. That's called stagnation. You cannot move forward without change and risk taking.

Let providers and DISH do what they want because in the end, the final vote goes to the customers.:) which they need to survive.
