MLB 2012 Season

Actually, I would not be surprised.

Just heard on MLB Radio from really good sources that there will be another west coast player whose name will be made public in the next couple of days. He said that he has ties to Miami.

WOW! Is that good news or bad? I mean if they are catching these guys that IS good news. But to have another big name tarnished this season would be bad for the game...I guess.

Don't know if it is a big name. The ties to Miami are to a lab in Miami, not necessarily a team.

You know you are having a bad season when your hitting OVER .300 for the month and STILL hitting .188 for the season ! How does John Buck still have a job as a major league catcher?!

Well, DodgerKing, what did you think of the game last night? I thought it was the best game of the year, especially as a Giant fan, but both pitchers were spectacular and some great defensive plays on both sides - really good baseball. I was leary of this series since the Giants are shaky at the plate and the bullpen has been weak but maybe it'll be a good race after all.

Didn't watch the game. I cannot watch night time weekday games between the Dodgers and Giants as it gets my blood pressure up and makes it difficult for me to sleep. Being able to function at work the next day is more important for me.

The score ended up like I thought it would. I thought it would be a 2-1 or 1-0 game with either team just as likely to be on the winning side, as both teams had their best starter going. I think the Giants will take the series 2-1 and leave 0.5 games up. The Dodgers will probably win tonight in a higher scoring game as both teams have their worst starter going. The Giants will probably win Wednesday in another low scoring game.

The Giants are fortunate that Kemp is currently in his worst slump of the year and probably his career.

Yeah, the Giants announcers said the same thing about Kemp, but they did have a pretty good road trip even without him. Posey has been on fire, but he didn't have a clue against Kershaw last night. Never know what you'll get with Lincecum this year and the Giants have a knack for making mediocre pitchers look good so tonight'll be interesting. Whatever, the series the last week of the season should be fun.

He is truly a beauty to watch. I just love him. Let him just keep doin' his own 'natchal thing!

He is amazing. His last 5 HRs..all in the last 5 games....have all been over 425+ feet. He has missed 30 games and still tied for 3rd in the NL.

What an absolute pathetic performance by the Mets tonight. There 11-26 since the All Star Break. I mean you guys should watch the highlights of the game. The Mets performed like the Bad News Bears tonight. Completely terrible. And now there is word that Johan Santana may be out for the rest of the year. I think he's 3-6 with a 5.29 ERA since his no hitter.

Let me change my prediction. The Giants will sweep the Dodgers and will leave 2.5 games up.

Why not shelve him for now..have him throw on his supposed turn in the rotation and he is fresh for the playoffs? The intent to play in the Majors is to play in the post season...not sit during it.

Ridiculous!

Reality hit the Mets after the All Star Game. They did more than expected in the first half but there were holes in their team that eventually showed. Next year will be a better year.

How does Joe Buck have a job as a major league announcer?
