Looks like tonight the Giants will be the second team to clinch their division.

For those who doubted his ability..guess who was the 1st pitcher to win 20 games....yep, Gio Gonzales.
Congrats, Ramy! And congrats to both he Reds and the Nats.......two teams that are doing it the right way!
Lol...why?
Not necessarily true. The balance of power has shifted to the NL. One can easily argue that the NL is a tougher league now. Plus in the AL the pitcher has the ability to stay in a longer in close games which gives him more opportunity to earn a win as he will not have to be removed for a pinch hitter if his spot in the order comes up late in the game with a chance to score runs. He'd be at 14-6 or something like that ...
Having to pitch against the AL is much tougher.

Angels sweep the White Sox! I never saw that coming. Don't look now but the Angels are for once pitching well AND hitting very well! But...is it too late? They remain 2.5 games back of a playoff spot. Can they get past a roaring Baltimore club or those pesky, exciting Athletics in these final days of the season?

The rest of MLB had better hope that the Angels don't get in!

What proof do you have of this statement?
see previous posts.
AL has for years been the tougher league.
AL has the DH, the NL has the pitcher and a #8 hitter that usually isn't much better .
2011 St. Louis Cardinals Texas Rangers 4-3
2010 San Francisco Giants Texas Rangers 4-1
2009 New York Yankees Philadelphia Phillies 4-2
2008 Philadelphia Phillies Tampa Bay Rays 4-1
2007 Boston Red Sox Colorado Rockies 4-0
2006 St. Louis Cardinals Detroit Tigers 4-1
NL 4 of last 6 series? NL won last 3 all-star games?
Not really seeing the AL dominance.
DH is not an argument as it distorts comparisons and involves completely different strategies.
So ... because a team gets hot in the WS, that makes the LEAGUE the better one ?

This is why YOU like the AL...and not why it is supposedly better.
I personally like the NL better. I like the strategy that has to be played around the pitcher batting.
