The Following

I thought it was good. I liked it, but did not love it. I don't particularly like the whole theme of, every week, tracking down the "followers" (it has kind of an Alcatraz feel to it). I just don't see how the series can have a very long run. I will be watching more episodes though, because the jury is still out for me.

"Chapter 2": Ryan, Agent Weston and FBI Specialist Debra Parker investigate the history of Carroll's psyche; Emma, Jacob and Paul hold Claire's son while they plan for their next move.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this series plays out. Criminals Minds is getting a little long in the tooth so, hopefully, this provides viewers with a new twists into a group of twistered followers.

Not bad, not great, ratings for pilot episode...

...but got to beat 2 Stupid Girls and M&M.

9 p.m.
CBS: "2 Broke Girls" (11.5 million, 7.1/10)/"Mike & Molly" (10.85 million, 6.6/10)
FOX: "The Following" series premiere (10.4 million, 6.2/9)
ABC: "The Bachelor" (7.4 million, 4.9/7)
NBC: "The Biggest Loser" (6.1 million, 3.7/5)
The CW: "90210" (788,000, 0.5/1)

Very respectable, IMO

Fox seems to have a better plan, AKA better shows, for midseason than any of the other networks. Deception bit, Do No Harm looks iffy, the ABC ripoff of National Treasure, etc.

Agreed. I'm getting tired of CM, especially with the cast change. Love CSI's additions, not CM's.

Paget Brewster was certainly better than the new gal, but I'm just getting sick of the characters and the sameness of the episodes. The ratings are still quite good so the show will continue as long as everyone is making money. As for the CSIs, I got fed up with all of them last year and I'm beginning to feel the same way about CM) I stopped watching CSI for a couple years and was watching Miami and NY...until they brought in Dr. Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne). He infused foreboding element into the show that I really enjoyed. I know we disagree, but I whenever I flip the channel to CSI these days I have a craving for beer & pretzels, along with racing thoughts of Grecian Formula.
