$5 a sub, Screw CBS! thats crazy!

I would love to see where and how CBS can prove they lost anything in advertizing based on commercial skipping.

Here is the thing I don't get.

If CBS has their panties in a bunch over something that skips commercials, WTF is the difference between:

A. Skipping commercials.
B. Fast-forwarding through them.

By their logic, if you fast forward through them, you are at least exposed to them, and being human, you may get distracted and forget to FF through them. With the Hopper, the device takes all the work out of it,

It's pretty obvious. You still see the products, brands, and logos when you fast forward.

But, did you perhaps mean to say "Manually skipping vs Auto-skipping"? Who fast-forwards through commercials?

I wish the skip forward was adjustable like some of Charter's Cable DVRs are.

You know there's a 10-second back button just for this reason? I can guarantee that I can skip through commercials and if necessary, skip back, quicker than you FF'ing through them.
