DISH Reaches Long Term Agreement with DISNEY / ESPN / ABC

I would recommend against looking. It'll depress you seeing what consumer choice is actually like.

An energy surplus, health care, a la carte sat programming, national broadcast curling, winter 13 months a year, competent hockey announcers. *sobs*
LOL. Now if only Dish and Directv would carry CBC.:D

It is hard to believe they go dark on Tuesday and there is no bashing, which is good news, but it is still unreal we haven't heard anything. For the record I can pay a little more but I want all Disney/ESPNs in HD, SD is a waste of bandwidth, I want the Longhorn Network HD in the sportspack, I want the WathchESPN app (having it on the Hopper would be great) and also want an agreement with the SEC network that lights up in August. Yes that would about do it.

Where/How are you getting that notion? There has been no news, which most of us are considering good news.

I agree. We're not seeing the usual signs that would have many in a panic, yet some are already panicking.

I am sure not trying to cause a panic maybe what I said was misunderstood I still believe in Scott's gut feeling but I really thought we would have heard something by now with such a big negotiation. I am not saying they will go dark Tuesday, just that they are scheduled too if there is no deal. I still have faith!

I have faith until the evil scrolling messages start and they start trashing each other.

I don't know. Boehner doesn't seem interested in being reasonable on this and if the Republicans don't cave in their unreasonable demands that the ACA be gutted from any funding, I don't see how the ESPN deal is going to get through once the Senate passes a bill that strips that portion out of the ESPN bill.

 I think I might be getting stories mixed up here.

Since I'm a Purdue alum i really don't GAS about ESPN right now. In fact, I won't even call E* and bitch to get credits like I did last year when we lost BB and Hell on Wheels during the AMC blackout. They gave me credits for lost episodes of those shows.

So if we lose ESPN, we can blame that on Ted Cruz also? OK, works for me...
