Working on the System

This must be the only subsection I can post in, then. Still can't post in FTA-Cband or FTA anyplace subsections, what do I need to do? Can't change my password because I forgot what it was changed to the last time. I haven't changed anything at all in my puter so it's gotta be something with the site.

There have been no other changes. I have looked at your account and all is ok. Make sure your not trying to post to the FTA reviews section.

However if your getting any error messages let me know and that will help troubleshoot in case there is an issue. :D

I can't 'Post a New Thread'. Just tried in the Hopper section and it doesn't let me add a title. When I click on the title space it seems like a nav bar is there in the background that offers 'New Posts', 'Private Messages', 'Community', etc. Same results with Firefox and Chrome.

It just worked with IE. Guess I'll just use IE when starting a thread. :)

Odd...

One other thing I can try is there is a full new version of vBulletin (4.2.2) which I can install. I just hope it does not break more then what it fixes.

Mine is exactly the same as mr sheridan>attempting to post a new message, or reply will open the window/message box , but in Firefox it is also popping up a little dropdown menu that says New Posts. if you click on it, it opens options all the way to the page bottom. I tried blocking the image with the adblock filter but it just opens up another dropdown about halfway across the page....forgot what it said. I don't have Internet Explorer as I haven't used Windows since Windows 2000-I am Linux only now.
Any help is appreciated. (and no, I have no desire to post messages in the Review section, lol).
EDIT EDIT:"SOLVED" I posted one message reply in the c-band section, so must be working right again. Decided to try wiping out a bunch of damn cookies, and that fixed it somehow. Strange that it didn't remove my password at the login, but that must be saved elsewhere in firefox. Don't upgrade yet Scott! (not because of my problem anyway).

I got this great investment opportunity for you. Transportation over waterways is vital, and I JUST HAPPEN to have one such link in Brooklyn available but you must act fast! ;)

Good luck with that. Seems like time is ripe for a clean sheet of paper BBS system with none of these legacy problems.

Ok guys, not sure if I am seeing the same thing you guys are, what I call the Nav bar is acting odd, don't know if it's the same as you guys though.

If I try to click on "Hometown Discussions", the "Community" tab below lights up like I'm hovering on it.
If I move to "Sat Operations tab, "Forum Actions or Quick Links" light up.

Obviously I am in the Colored style at the moment as I thought I would see if it was working yet.

Fwiw, I'm using FF24.

Is this the same as what you others are seeing ?

Ok I just reverted the editor back to the standard (old) CkEditor which comes with vBulletin. This should hopefully fix the posting issues a number of you reported. :)

Now to fix the styles again. :D I am back in the office today so I do hope to have time to work on this. :D

The Welcome up at the top right near where your notifications menu is at is white against the white background of the default theme.

Are we having issues tonight ?

Most of the night at least the last hour or so, it's taking about :30 seconds to load a page.

That said, other times it loads very fast like usual, so the slow loading is sporadic.
