2013 MLB Postseason

Tonight could be the night that the World Series challenges the NFL in the ratings. It's proving to be a very entertaining series, even for neutral observers. And most importantly, one of the teams involved in tonight's MNF is from St. Louis.

CARDINALS (2-2, 97-65 regular season)
Matt Carpenter 2B
Shane Robinson CF
Matt Holliday LF
Carlos Beltran RF
Yadier Molina C
Matt Adams 1B
David Freese 3B
Pete Kozma SS
RHP Adam Wainwright (2-2, 2.25 postseason; 19-9, 2.94 regular season).

Allen Craig in, Matt Adams out per Ken Rosenthal. After watching Craig move around the last two nights, can't believe he'll be able to move around the bag. Look for Ellsbury to possibly drop one down tonight.

Even with Ortiz's .727 average in this series??

I was basing that opinion on the Chinese Fire Drill that the Red Sox were performing in game 2 & game 3. I thought maybe the Sox needed new faces to change the direction they were headed before last night's game. But as everybody is saying,Ortiz has the hot bat,& after tonight, win or lose,it'll be a moot point as they'll be back in an AL park.

To sum it all up,I WAS WRONG.

O boy,another useless interview.

It is getting soooooooo tiresome!! I get ESPN doing it on their Sunday Night Baseball telecasts, but THIS is the World freakin' Series!!! Again, I can't believe the teams allow it. I can just picture it now: the Patriots are in the Super Bowl, the other team is driving and the network is interviewing Tom Brady. Think Bill Belichick would allow this?

Thats interesting, I enjoy the player interviews when done right ...

EVERYTIME they interviewed Max Scherzer during an inning, the Tigers scored runs and came up with rallies !
