No surprise at all, other reports are more cuts to come. Everything that made the International version popular is missing, and worse you have to work to get the International version in the U.S. now. They became just another news channel.

I agree it´s no surprise I was expecting a total failure of this Al Jazeera version. I was frustrated along with a bunch of FTA users because we lost the international version Al Jazeera English, due to the launch of Al Jazeera America.

The international version would probably draw more viewers since people would be curious to see a non US perspective. I have watched various news channels overseas and they are interesting, but I do not know if I would watch them long term once the novelty wore off.
