1000.4 Eastern Arc Pointing Question

What transponders on which satellites are best for my peaking?

61.5 never came in real good after he repointed. I didn't worry about it because most of my HD programming comes from 72.
I recently downgraded to the welcome pack. Now all of my programming comes in SD and on 61.5

Seeing you downgraded to Welcome you want to maximize signal on 61.5. Don't eliminate 72.7 but you can sacrifice a little signal off 72 to increase 61.5.

If by "tweaking" you mean "peaking", then, yes, peak on 72 using transponder 5 or 9.

The installation manual for my 1000.4 dish says to peak on either 19 or 21 transponder on 72.7. I did that when I installed mine in 08 it has worked well ever since.

The 1000.4 manual I used (http://manuals.solidsignal.com/D1000.4EA_D1000.4WA_Installation Instructions_solidsignal-com.pdf) said to use transponder 5 or 9 for sat 72.7 Eastern Arc (page 2 of manual) and transponder 13 or 21 on sat 119 for Western Arc (page 3 of manual).

My DISH installation manual was from 2008 and I got it with my 1000.4 sat dish from dishdepot.com. Maybe they have changed the transponder that they peak on now?
