I had a lazy installer a couple of years ago. He didn't properly point my dish.
I'm going to hop up there and re-point. I have all of my pointing info, except..
What transponders on which satellites are best for my peaking?

If you are already receiving signals you can use any transponder that you are receiving except spotbeams to improve the signal strength.

Wait. You are saying it's been good for a couple of years? I hope that's not why he is a lazy installer.
61.5 never came in real good after he repointed. I didn't worry about it because most of my HD programming comes from 72.
I recently downgraded to the welcome pack. Now all of my programming comes in SD and on 61.5

My DISH installation manual was from 2008 and I got it with my 1000.4 sat dish from dishdepot.com. Maybe they have changed the transponder that they peak on now?
