I'm not sure why they started taking them out so soon but they must have their reasoning.
I bought my super joey from Dishdepot.com and it came with an integrator in the box along with installation diagrams for different scenarios . The integrator comes standard with the super joey. The diagrams I requested when I emailed them, because I had no idea how to install a super joey .
You see,that's the way it should be. But Scherrman says that Dish has started taking the integrators out of the box. I was asking how do you get an integrator then if it's not in the box & so far no one is selling them alone yet?
I honestly don't know if they stopped including them yet or not. All I know is that they are going to stop doing it if it hasn't been done already. We have only installed one Super Joey and I only have one in stock so I can't tell you what the current Super Joeys being shipped include right now.
I guess it's just like a box of chocolates,you never know what you'll find inside.
I'm just going by what I heard on the Retailer Chat last month. I'll have to do some digging to find an actually date for when they will no longer include them.
Alright, I just pulled up the Retailer Chat and it says effective August 4th that Super Joeys will no longer include the Integrator and must be purchased separately. This means that retailers will have Integrators available separately to purchase. I know what my cost will be but I don't know what they will retail for. I'm assuming anywhere from $10 to $15.
You could email or call dishdepot.com and see if they would sell you the integrator by itself or call DISH itself and see if they would sell it . I don't see why they don't ,unless they are soon to release a new solo node that does it all in one , like a triplexor for sat and ota etc.
I have no details. All I know is that Dish said they have a new outdoor unit coming that will no longer require the Integrator. There should not be any concerns to any customers whatsoever. If anyone here wishes to purchase a Super Joey and the Integrator is not included with it you can just purchase the Integrator separate. The part number is 200235. This just went into affect yesterday so a lot of retailers should still have Super Joeys with Integrators included in stock.

No, Scherrman learned from a DISH retailer chat that a new outdoor unit is coming out that will replace the Integrator. I am asking is there any chance that this new outdoor unit when it comes out will DISH allow customers to have more than one Hopper with a Super Joey. Maybe this new outdoor unit will fix whatever the issues are that DISH presently will not allow customers to have more than one Hopper with a Super Joey.

Doubt that. If anything that's a software/policy limit. I'm sure whatever new comes out will still only support one Hopper. It'll probably just be a Solo Node with an integrated Integrator.
Who knows. Once again, all we can do is speculate. I think it can have some potential though.
Potential for what? If their policy doesn't allow multiple Hoppers with the Super Joey, then why would they make the new node support two Hoppers? I know policies can change, but I think the probability is slim, at least at this time.
Just because it's not allowed now doesn't mean they won't change it. They didn't want to allow two Hoppers when they were first released.
The potential I think about has more to do with the install side of things, not so much for the customer.
