Does BlockBuster@Home have a free trial like NetFlix or Amazon Prime?

I think I messed up when I replaced my ancient 525 with a 722 last year. Someone told me if I had asked I could have got a 3 month trial. At the time I didn't even know it existed.

I believe you can get it for $5 (half price).
Can anyone post how to do that?

I'm not even trying to save money on the package. Just use it for a few days to see if I want it. According to CS chat it would cost me $15 to try it for any amount up to 30 days because in addition to the $10/mo, there is a $5 termination fee.

Thanks. Even better than I thought. Only $5/mo for a full 6 months and no fee to cancel. The chat rep said it would be $5 total at most if canceled in the first month. It sounded like it would be $2.50 if canceled in half a month.

I'll know in a day if i want to keep it. I suspect I will.

Thanks for the tips!

It is easily worth the $5/mo.

IMO, it's the best value on Dish. Altho, half-price Showtime is pretty sweet, too.
Other than one two original series, Show rates well below Epix and HDnetMovies in my book, even at half off.
