Agree! Bought a used Fluke 87 on eBay about 15 years ago. Took it to work and checked it against a new 87. The used meter was spot on. Still using it today, although I have several cheap meters for non-critical trouble shooting. Only thing I hate is the cost of fuses. I have a tendency to leave the 87 in the current measuring mode after a test. Then, I'll try to measure a voltage while still in current mode. POP GOES THE FUSE! Clerk says; "That will be ten dollars please."

I was all excited till I saw the price & that it wasn't a multimeter ... we use those at work, pretty handy.

My Fluke 8020a multimeter which I picked in Holland, in 1974, is still going strong.
