Help?

Need a little help.... Bought a new My Book 2 TB drive today and my 622 pops up a window saying it's unsupported. I've tried a bunch of different drives in different enclosures... all say unsupported. What gives?

Try formatting it on a PC. Then hook it up to your DVR to reformat.

Make sure you remove any partitions of any.

The Hopper will support a 3tb drivw. I don't know if the 622 will support your ehd.

Well, since he said he has a 2T.....

The reformatting on the desktop, then connecting to the 622 worked! The receiver went through the reformat and rebooted and can see it now. Thanks!

Is it powered independently or usb powered?

I tried using those little ones and they never seem to work.
