Hey everyone.

When I got home today, I noticed that I couldn't access my DVR from the hubs' DVR. Went to my DVR and found it stuck on the "Starting up..." screen. I tried to reset it several times and have had it unplugged for over 30 mins but I keep getting the same start up screen. Ugh...

I need a new one correct? Is the same DVR or can upgrade it to one with a sling?

Sad... Lost all my shows...

Thanks for your help!
Maggie

Likely, you can qualify to upgrade it to the HWS, but it will also likely demand a new 24 month commitment. That said, here is a trick to try to atleast try and salvage your recordings. Remove all cables, except the HDMI and POWER cable. Reset the receiver. Once it comes on, see if it goes to the complete signal loss. If it does, hook up an EHD, and try and transfer over some of your content. There could also be a grounding issue, so removing the coaxial cable and resetting it may not be a bad idea either, just be sure the receiver is off again before plugging it back in(off not standby). Give those a shot, and you might have some success, but for the upgrade and replacement, you would want to contact DIRT, and they will square you away.

No such luck!! But thanks for the suggestions.

I guess it's time to contact someone from the DIRT team.

Sorry for the delay in my response, were you able to get the replacement receiver taken care of or do you need assistance with it still?
