Need help adding a new receiver location

I don't want to add a new receiver. But I want to be able to move a Joey back and forth from a bedroom to an outside porch. I have a coax run from the porch to the duo node. Now I just need to know how to hook it up. Can I come out of the duo node into a 2-way splitter. One going to the bedroom where the Joey currently sits and the other side going to the porch? And if so, does it matter which output I use on the duo node? Do I have to split it with that same bedroom coax run (because I'm not real sure which cable it is exactly). Or can I do it with any of the cables? Here's a pic of the current setup. I have 2 hoppers and 3 joeys if that matters.

Good morning, we would be more than happy to assist you today! Unfortunately, you will not be able to connect the wires from the node to a 2 way splitter as it would not deliver the proper connectivity. You will need to be connected to the host port on the node, and any equipment you use will need to be graded for 3 GHz. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks!

He wants to add a Joey location, he can use a splitter on the client side, similar to this:

He does want to make sure to teminate whichever cable end doesn't have a Joey attached....

So I can come out of any "client" output into a 2-way splitter? Doesn't matter which one? And what do you mean by terminate the cable not being used by a Joey? I can't just unscrew it from the Joey and leave it hanging?

It might work fine to leave it hanging and it might not. If your Hopper system shows any instability, connect a barrel connector with a 75 ohm terminator on the end of the unused cable to avoid reflected signals on that line.
